SALAH: KUYT DRAWS MESSI COMPARISON

Ex-Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt has drawn comparison between Mohamed Salah and Lionel Messi on the back of the sensational start from the Egyptian international. Dirk Kuyt was recently on Sky Sports News to talk about Salah and his impressive start to the new season in the colours of Liverpool. According to him, Salah is looking like Messi and that he's scoring the most amazing goals.

Former Dutch national team player Dirk Kuyt then called on Liverpool players to do everything possible to hold on to the services of Salah who has less than two years on his Reds contract. The 29-year-old will have one year remaining on his Liverpool contract by next summer if he doesn't sign a new deal.

Kuyt is sure that Salah is the best performing player in Europe at the moment and that what he's doing right now is incredible.
Salah has 15 goals and six assists in just 13 Liverpool games this season to underline his red-hot form in front of the opposition defence this season. The Egyptian player scored in ten successive games for Liverpool in all competitions before the run was stopped during the Premier League home clash with Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend.
Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane were on target as the Reds lost a two-goal lead for a 2-2 draw. Salah was the one responsible for the first goal via his assist, while first half substitute Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain provided the assist for the second goal. Brighton got their goals through EnockMwepu and Leandro Trossard.
Despite his failure to score against the Seagulls, Mohamed Salah is still the leading goalscorer in the Premier League this season with ten goals. He has three goals more than Leicester City star Jamie Vardy in the race for the Golden Boot.
