CAN LIVERPOOL DEPEND ON THEIR BENCH?

Liverpool perfect start to the Premier League means that there is less scrutiny on the team than normal. This is because it is difficult to scrutinize a team that has won all their matches this season. However, challenges will come and Klopp would have to turn to his bench for help at some point in the season.
The bench showed last season that it is capable of supporting the first team with DivorkOrigi, XherdanXhaqiri and Naby Keita contributing at different points of the season. However this season the bench has not had enough opportunities.

Klopp has been fortunate enough to have full complement of players, but as we all know the attack is where an injury to key players could derail their title bid. We look at some of the players that could have an impact.
Naby Keita career at Liverpool has been one of a disappointment for the Guinean that took the Bundesliga by storm some few seasons back. Injury has been the major source of worry with the player not getting enough time to build up momentum.

Keita is capable of transforming games and would be one of the players that Klopp can turn to during dire circumstances. XherdanXhaqiri took centre stage last season as Jurgen Klopp super-sub on the left of attack.
The former Stoke City player was compared by some quarters to Dirk Kuyt for his astuteness on the ball and ability to conjure top quality strikes. However, during the second half of the season, he did not feature much and this has extended into the new season.
Oxlade Chamberlain is one player that many will be hoping can succeed at the club. The injury-prone midfielder had an excellent debut campaign before injury struck last season. Boasting pace, dribbling ability and goalscoring nous, the former Arsenal man could be the right player from the bench.
